Bee Keeping Courses at Boundary Farm
For those who may be interested in the craft of Bee-keeping we offer a comprehensive introductory course - How to get started in Bee-keeping - which includes all you need to know about bees and bee-keeping to reach the stage of bottling your honey and selling the end product to the public.We cover in detail honey, bee biology, rearing Queen honey bees, managing bees throughout the year, buying bees to stock your hives, controlling pests and diseases, swarming and absconding also the dances honeybees perform to let other bees in the colony know where the food sources are.
Booking
These courses can be booked for half day or full day sessions i.e. 10am-2pm, or 10am-late afternoon.Price
The price of courses will be £50 for a half day and £100 for a full day. Payment in full to be made in advance.All protective clothing will be provided.
